James Byrne, a seasoned Commvault Architect and Administrator, joined DataPivot in 2015, bringing over two decades of expertise in data protection and disaster recovery. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a robust technical background, James has significantly shaped the backup and recovery landscape through innovative Commvault solutions.
Prior to DataPivot, he played pivotal roles at Commvault and EMC, where he led large-scale data protection projects, integrating advanced technologies into complex IT environments. At DataPivot, he pioneered the Data Pivot Appliance, enhancing system performance and cost efficiency across client platforms.
James is known for his technical leadership and ability to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs. His dedication extends beyond professional achievements, contributing to community tech initiatives and mentoring emerging IT talent.
